Advanced Technology

At Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry of Northern Indiana, our team prides itself on our state-of-the-art technology and eagerness to continue learning and evolving to better serve our patients. The advancements available in our office help us maintain our focus on ease and comfort in everything we do. We encourage residents in or around Rochester, IN, to schedule an appointment with us today to learn more about how our technology can make your dental experience more enjoyable.

3D CT Scanner

Our 3D CT dental imaging system allows our team to capture high-quality, 3-dimensional digital images of the mouth, jawbone, teeth, and teeth roots. This x-ray exerts up to 90% less radiation than a traditional x-ray, making it a safer option with faster imaging. The advanced accuracy of this system enables us to conduct examinations and treatments with more precision, giving our team an exact map of a patient’s jaw, nerve location, cavities, and positions of teeth and roots.  The scanner is particularly useful when patients undergo surgery for dental implants, as Dr. can digitally plan the procedure by looking at advanced access imaging of the patient’s entire mouth and jawbone. Having access to this imagery allows the dentist to avoid vital structures and nerves during implant placement, increasing the odds of a successful surgery.

CEREC

CEREC is a machine we use to produce perfectly fitting dental crowns in just one visit to our office. Utilizing an intraoral camera, a digital impression of the patient’s mouth is generated to perfectly represent the crown’s exact placement location. Using CEREC digital imaging and computer-based technology, Dr. can quickly design a dental crown that fits perfectly into position. When the design is complete, it is sent to the milling machine, which sculpts the crown from a composite block into the precise fit required for seamless integration.

Digital Impressions

The days of biting into sticky clay to obtain a dental impression are behind us; advances in dentistry have led to more accurate and convenient ways to obtain impressions. Dental care providers can formulate more precise treatment plans and restorations using digital impressions without relying on guesswork or estimation. Dr. can utilize digital impressions for a variety of dental treatments for patients, including dental crowns, root canals, bridges, and dental implants.

Our practice strives to continue growing and adopting new modern solutions in dentistry whenever possible. We believe our commitment to this growth reflects our priority for patient care, doing what we can to provide the best experience.
