Contact our office in Rochester, IN today and ask us how dental implants can transform your smile!

Single Dental Implants

Single dental implants are created to replace one tooth per implant. The implant is formulated by three separate pieces; the implant, the abutment, and the crown. The implant is surgically placed into the jawbone to utilize the natural support of the jaw while stimulating healthy bone growth. The abutment is attached to the implant and sits above the gum line, providing a piece for the crown to attach to.

If you’re interested in receiving a dental implant, the process to get started is simple with just four steps:

  • Consultation – Dr. Hazen will evaluate your oral health and discuss the details of your treatment plan.
  • Preparation Procedures – If needed, we may provide extra treatment before your gums and bone are strong enough to support implants.
  • Placement – Your implant post will be surgically placed in your jawbone, and it will take between three and six months for complete healing.
  • Restoration – We will attach your abutment and custom-made crown to the implant post, completing your full procedure.

Implant-Supported Bridges

We are also able to provide implant-supported bridges, supplying the replacement of a sequence of teeth by using implants to better secure the oral appliance to the gapped section.

Implant-supported bridges are very similar to traditional bridges, except instead of being attached to your mouth with crowns, they use implants. The number of implants placed will be dependent on the number of teeth needing to be replaced.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Implant-supported dentures are a fantastic option for patients that want a stronger hold for their dentures. Instead of relying on suction or adhesive, implant-supported dentures snap into place, providing a more secure hold. These types of implants are placed to stimulate bone growth with between four or six implants being placed along the arch of the top or bottom gums.

Multiple Options to Satisfy Your Needs

Implants are a miracle of modern dentistry, completely replacing every part of the natural tooth structure and creating a secure fit that promotes bone growth. Once dental implants have healed, they are fully functional like a natural tooth. Our office understands the incredible advantages of dental implants and wants patients to be able to utilize them for their treatment. That’s why we offer a variety of restoration options that can be customized to fit your individual needs!
